
Tropicana Field is located directly east of Interstate 275 in St. Petersburg. The dome is visible from the highway. I-375 and I-175 both veer off of I-275 and feed into Tropicana Field.
Fans traveling southbound on I-275 from North Pinellas or Tampa are encouraged to take exit 23B (5th Avenue North), and continue south on 20th Street to 1st Ave. S. or 3rd Ave. S.
Fans traveling northbound on I-275 are encouraged to take exit 21 (31st Street) and follow 31st Street to 5th Avenue South.

In 2010, vehicles with four or more passengers may park free for all Bronze and Sunday games. For all other games, the first 100 cars with four or more will park for free up to an hour before game time. Fans attending games at Tropicana Field are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy tailgating, live bands and baseball activities.

Three parking lots (1, 6A and 7A) offer disabled parking spaces just outside the gates, with the majority of the spaces located in lots 6A and 7A. All disabled parking is van-accessible. Enter Lot 6A from First Avenue South or 10th Street South, Lot 7A from Fourth Avenue South, and Lot 1 from 16th Street South.
Additionally, there is a drop-off area in front of Gate 4, which is directly across from lot 1 on 16th Street.
Commercial and city-owned parking is also available at various price points surrounding Tropicana Field. These lots are not operated by the Rays and thus do not offer free parking.

For select games, the trolley operates from 90 minutes before game time, throughout the game, until one hour after the game is over. The FREE baseball shuttle picks up passengers on Second Street mid-block between Central Avenue and First Avenue S. (under the Bank of America Tower's pedestrian bridge) and drops passengers off on First Avenue S. near 16th Street. The city-owned garage accessible on First Avenue S., just east of Second Street, is the designated shuttle parking facility and will cost $5. Other parking is available in the immediate downtown area. A dedicated van will be available for guests with special needs.
