2009 Milby Awards

Of all the impressive feats accomplished by the Minor Leagues' top players this past season, MLB.com has narrowed it down to just the best of the best with the 2009 Minor League Baseball Yearly Awards.


Looks like the A's have a lot to look forward to. Chris Carter had a stand-out year at the plate, hitting almost .330 with 28 home runs and over 110 RBIs and runs scored, to earn this year's MiLBY for the best overall hitter in the Minors. Four others finished not too far behind the slugging first baseman, picking up awards at their respective level.
